Pinetarsol Gel is a soothing, pH-balanced soap free cleanser that provides effective relieve from inflamed and itchy skin. It gently cleanses without irritating sensitive or inflamed skin. Pinetarsol can be used on the face, hands and body.

Pinetarsol Gel is specially formulated to provide effective relieve from itchy and inflamed skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, shaving rash, chicken pox, nappy rash, sunburn, prickly heat, hives, insect bites, tinea, ringworm, athlete’s foot, pityriasis versicolor, and anal and genital itching associated with conditions such as thrush and jock itch.

The active ingredient in Pinetarsol is pine tar. Pine tar has properties that inhibit itching and inflammation.

Pinetarsol Gel also contains glycerol and liquid paraffin, a humectant and an emollient. These agents mimic the features your skin uses to prevent itself from dehydrating.

Glycerol acts as a humectant, a moisturising agent that increases the water-holding capacity of the outermost layer of the skin, helping to prevent skin dryness.

Liquid Paraffin is an emollient, a moisturising agent which softens and soothes the skin. Emollients are used to correct dryness and scaling of the skin.

Directions

Apply to wet skin and smooth gently over affected area. Leave on 2 to 3 minutes. Rinse and pat dry skin.

Apply an emollient cream such as Cetaphil Cream or QV Lotion after cleansing with Pinetarsol Gel will help keep the skin in good condition and can help to prevent recurrence of eczema and dermatitis.

Warning

Avoid eyes. If lather enters eyes, flush with water.
