Nutra-Life Cranbiotic Cranberry Extract offers the unique combination of Cran-Max® cranberry extract and three strains of probiotics. These proprietary ingredients have been scientifically studied and found to be beneficial for the urinary tract and intestinal health.
Cran-Max® Cranberry Supplement is a clinically proven product used for Urinary Tract Infections (UTI’s), made from 100% cranberry fruit solids. It is made through a proprietary process that intensifies the natural benefits of the whole cranberry, without the use of any solvents, preservatives, sugars, water, flavorings or colour. This process maintains high level of therapeutically active phytochemicals including organic acid, anthocyanins, proanthocyanins and lignins.
The cell linings of the urinary tract are coated with mucous which prevents bacteria from adhering to the urinary tract walls. Infection occurs from bacteria growth within the urinary tract. Cranberries contain proanthocyanidins, which have been found to prevent urinary tract infection causing bacteria, E. coli from adhering to the walls of the urinary tract and colonising there causing infection.
Cranberries also help mask urinary odours associated with incontinence.
