Nordic Naturals Kenai Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil is sustainably sourced from wild Alaskan salmon from the Cook Inlet in Kenai, Alaska.
Because heavy metals such as arsenic, cadmium, lead, and mercury pose potential problems in all wild salmon stocks, our gentle purification process carefully removes such contaminants.
The result is a salmon oil with total arsenic levels up to 40 times lower than other leading salmon oil brands—every batch is third-party tested to guarantee it.
Nordic Naturals Kenai Wild Alaskan Salmon Oil also contains astaxanthin. Astaxanthin is a powerful antioxidant that is similar to beta-carotene. Astaxanthin contains the highest relative antioxidant activity when compared with alpha-tocopherol, alpha & beta-carotene, lutein and lycopene.
Nordic Naturals' patented nitrogen-based processing technology protects the fish oils from all oxidation. This ensures the oils to be exceptionally fresh and without fishy smell or taste.
