FEATURES AND BENEFITS

  • Provides fast cigarette craving relief.
  • Freshmint flavour.
  • Each canister provides 150 sprays (Nicotine 1mg/spray).

NICORETTE QuickMist is a unique, instant-release mouthspray - the first of its kind. It gives you fast relief from your cigarette cravings. The nicotine is absorbed quickly into your blood stream through the mouth lining, helping to rapidly relieve the urge to smoke.

The fine spray format is an effective way of replacing some of the nicotine your body is used to getting from cigarettes. So it’s well suited to help busy people tackle the strong and often unpredictable desire to smoke, whether you’re reducing one cigarette at a time or quitting for good.

In fact, using NICORETTE QuickMist has been clinically proven to more than double your chances of stopping smoking successfully compared to quitting with willpower alone.

NICORETTE QuickMist starts to act in 60 seconds to give you fast relief from your cigarette cravings. The nicotine is absorbed quickly into your body through the mouth lining, helping to rapidly relieve the urge to smoke.

By tackling these cravings as quickly as possible, you can regain control swiftly, and feel more confident about cutting down or succeeding in your quit attempt.

Ingredients

Nicotine 13.6mg/ml (1mg/spray)

Directions

For adults 18 years and over:

After priming NICORETTE QuickMist, point the nozzle towards the inside of your cheek or under the tongue, holding it as close as possible.

Press the top of the dispenser to release spray into the side of your cheek or under the tongue, avoiding the lips.

For best results, avoid swallowing for a few seconds after spraying.

Each person is an individual, so the right dose can vary person to person. As a guide NICORETTE recommend the following program for Stopping Immediately, Cutting Down or Combination Therapy

Stopping immediately:
Weeks 1 to 6 - Use 1 to 2 sprays when you would normally smoke a cigarette or having cravings to smoke (1 to 2 sprays every 30 minutes to 1 hour). Do not use more than 4 sprays per hour for 16 hours or 64 sprays per day.

Weeks 7 to 9 - Start reducing the number of sprays per day.

Weeks 10 to 12 - Gradually reduce to 2 to 4 sprays per day and then stop use.

Cutting down:
Gradually increase mouth spray use (do not use more than 4 sprays per hour for 16 hours, or 64 sprays per day) and reduce smoking with the aim of stopping by 6 months. If you have not cut down at 6 weeks or stopped at 9 months, see your doctor/pharmacist.

Combination Therapy:
If you have relapsed with single nicotine replacement therapy (NRT) or if you have cravings with single use NRT, you can use NICORETTE Mouth Spray in addition to NiCORETTE Patch for better craving relief. Use patch as directed and aim to use 1 to 2 sprays of NICORETTE Mouth Spray (do not use more than 2 sprays per hour for 16 hours, or 32 sprays per day). After 12 weeks reduce use of patch or mouth spray.

Using NICORETTE QuickMIst, you may experience:

As is the case with all forms of Nicotine Replacement Therapy (NRT), you may experience some side effects. These may include:

TINGLING LIPS
Some users have reported a mild burning sensation on their lips if they come into contact with the spray. This is completely normal and nothing to worry about. To avoid, simply take care not to get any spray on your lips.

HICCUPS
Some users also report getting mild hiccups when using the spray. Don’t worry, this is a common side effect for oral forms of NRT.

A STRONG TASTE
Some users have reported that NICORETTE® QuickMist has a distinctive, strong taste. This is quite normal for a NRT product due to the strong taste of nicotine, the active ingredient in NRT.
