Pinetarsol Solution is a soothing, pH-balanced soap free cleanser that provides effective relieve from inflamed and itchy skin. It gently cleanses without irritating sensitive or inflamed skin.
Pinetarsol Solution is highly effective in helping to relieve the symptoms of itchy skin conditions such as chicken pox or hives which tend to affect large areas of the body.
Pinetarsol Solution also provides effective relieve from other itchy and inflamed skin conditions such as dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis, shaving rash, nappy rash, sunburn, prickly heat, insect bites, tinea, ringworm, athlete’s foot, pityriasis versicolor, and anal and genital itching associated with conditions such as thrush and jock itch.
The active ingredient in Pinetarsol is pine tar. Pine tar has properties that inhibit itching and inflammation.

Directions
Bath
Add 15ml to 30ml to a warm to tepid bath (5ml in baby's bath or hand basin). Bathe for 5 to 10 minutes once daily, more often in severe cases. Pat skin dry.
Shower
Apply directly to wet skin, leave a few minutes, briefly rinse. Pat skin dry.
For small areas/patients in bed
Add 10ml to 3L of water, sponbe, pat skin dry.
Apply an emollient cream such as Cetaphil Cream or QV Lotion after cleansing with Pinetarsol Solution will help keep the skin in good condition and can help to prevent recurrence of eczema and dermatitis.
Warning
Avoid eyes. If lather enters eyes, flush with water.
