Comvita Propolis Tincture PLF30 is made from the highest quality propolis in an alcohol base. It is recommended for use on the skin, particularly skin conditions of the feet. Drop directly onto the skin to support your skin's natural healing process and to help the body's immune response and defences. The alcohol evaporates, leaving a covering of propolis to help protect your body.

Comvita Propolis Tincture PLF30 may also be helpful as a mouth wash in relieving gum inflammation.

Comvita has created the PFL standard for Propolis Flavonoids to show the concentration of flavonoids in each dose. PFL30 will provide 30mg of flavonoids per recommended dose. 

Propolis is a natural resin created by bees to build and protect their hives from diseases. Propolis is made from buds of conifer and poplar trees, beeswax and other bee secretions.

Historically, propolis was used to treat abscesses and heal wounds. Studies suggest propolis has anti-viral, anti-bacterial and anti-fungal properties. Comvita Propolis Tincture PLF30 may be helpful in the treatment and healing of cold sores, mouth ulcers and athlete's foot.

Early studies suggest that propolis when used as a mouthwash may reduce plaque formation, reduce bacteria in the mouth, relieve dental pain and gum inflammation.

Ingredients

Each 1.25ml contains: Propylene glycol (bulking agent), Propolis tincture (equivalent to 231mg pure propolis), Water.

Directions

For athlete's foot - Drop directly onto the skin twice daily.

For gingivitis - Add 4 to 5 drops to 30ml of water and swish around mouth then spit out.

For cold sores and mouth ulcers - Drop directly onto wound 4 times daily.

Warning

Propolis may cause severe allergic reactions. Do not use if you are allergic to propolis, bee stings, bee products or Balsam of Peru.
