Ponstan gives effective temporary relief from the aches and pain associated with period pain such as abdominal cramps, headhache and lower back pain.
Ponstan also treats heavy menstrual periods.
Directions
14 years to adult:
At the first sign of period pain or menstrual bleeding, take 2 capsules 3 times daily with food and a large glass of water.
Do not exceed 6 capsules daily.
Ponstan is not recommended for a child under 14 years.
Warning
Do not use Ponstan if you suffer from:
- Stomach ulcer.
- Liver failure
- Impaired kidney function or heart failure.
- Pregnant or intend to become pregnant or breast feeding.
- Taking blood thinning medication such as aspirin or warfarin.
- Allergic to mefenamic acid or other anti-inflammatory medicines.
Asthmatics and people taking other medicines including those contain mefenamic acid or other anti-inflammatory medicines should consult a doctor or pharmacist beore use.
