Discover OneStep In-Stream Pregnancy Test is a very simple, fast, one step test which will give you a reliable result as early as 6 DAYS BEFORE THE DAY OF YOUR MISSED PERIOD (5 days before the day of expected period).
Discover OneStep In-Stream Pregnancy Test contains SENSORFLOW®. Discover OneStep is so sensitive it detects even extremely low levels of pregnancy hormone, up to 6 days before your missed period.
From the moment an egg is fertilised and you become pregnant your body begins producing the pregnancy hormone human Chorionic Gonadotropin (hCG). This hormone doubles every 36 to 48 hours as your pregnancy progresses, reaching its peak at 8-10 weeks.
Some pregnant women may not have detectable levels of the pregnancy hormone in the urine the day they test. In clinical testing, DISCOVER® detected the hormone levels in 62% of women, 6 days before the day of the missed period (5 days before the day of expected period), in 78% of women 5 days before their missed period, in 87% of women 4 days before their missed period, and in 98% of women 3 days before their missed period and 99% of women 2 days before their missed period.
Directions
Discover OneStep in-Stream Pregnancy Test can be used any time of day. There is no need to use first morning urine.
- Remove test stick from the foil wrapper and take off the cap.
- Holding the test stick by the Thumb Grip with the Absorbent Tip pointing downward and the Result Window facing away from your body, place the Absorbent Tip in your urine stream for 5 seconds only. (You may also collect your urine in a clean, dry cup and immerse the entire Absorbent Tip in the urine for 5 seconds).
- With the Absorbent Tip still pointing downward, replace the Cap and lay the stick on a flat dry surface with the Result Window facing up.
- You may soon see a pink colour moving across the result window to indicate the test is working.
- The results should be read from 3 to 10 minutes after taking the test. The accuracy cannot be guaranteed after 10 minutes.
- 2 Pink lines in the result window indicates Pregnant. (One line may be lighter than the other, they do not have to match).
- 1 Pink line in the result window indicates Not Pregnant. (There will be no trace of a second line).
