Reducta contains Caralluma fimbriata, a patented plant extract that has been traditionally used in Ayurvedic tradition in India as an appetite suppressant and endurance enhancer.
Caralluma fimbriata has been used in Western India for centuries as a famine food, appetite suppressant and thirst quencher among the tribal population there. The people within the tribe would chew chunks of the plant to suppress hunger and thirst during hunting expeditions. In parts of semi rural and urban South India, laborers chew its stalks before undertaking the day’s labors to enhance endurance.
