BLIS K12 Throat Guard Boost contains BLIS K12 the world's only probiotic for the mouth and throat and high strength anti-bacterial chlorhexidine mouthwash. This combination provides maximum support to the throat's natural defences against undersirable bacteria and maintains throat health.
Containing naturally occurring oral bacteria, Streptococcus salivarius K12, BLIS K12 Throat Guard Boost has been shown to maintain throat healthy by supporting the throat's natural defences against undesirable bacteria.
Streptococcus salivarius K12 is the result of many years of scientific research by Professor John Tagg and his research team at the Microbiology Department, University of Otago, New Zealand.
Streptococcus salivarius K12 is a type of bacteria naturally carried by about 10% of the population. It produces Bacteriocin-Like-Inhibitory-Substances (BLIS) which when present in a persons saliva help inhibit certain undesirable bacteria. Scientific studies have shown that people with high levels of Streptococcus salivarius K12 found in BLIS K12 Throat Guard typically enjoy good oral and throat health, and have healthy breath.
Ideally, use BLIS K12 Throat Guard Boost as a precautionary health measure when others around you are experiencing sudden poor throat health, which is especially true in the winter season.
This product contains:
- High strength chlorhexidine mouthwash.
- 12 x BLIS K12 lozenges vanilla flavour.
Directions
Adults and children 3 years and over:
- Swirl 10ml of Chlorhexidine mouthwash for 30 seconds then expel.
- Wait for 2 hours.
- Slowly dissolve one loenge on the tongue every 1 to 2 hours.
- Daily dosage is four lozenges.
Repeat procedure for the next 2 days.
This product can be used when pregnant or breastfeeding.
